When I first bought my Fender Tex-Mex Stratocaster (1996) I wanted to learn how to play like Stevie Ray Vaughan. Until I bought Wolf Marshall's Stevie Ray Vaughan's Signature Licks I thought it was a hopeless cause.
After using Stevie Ray Vaughan's Signature Licks for about a 15 hours of practice I am almost able to play Look at Little Sister. Considering that I have spent many more hours trying to learn any Stevie Ray Vaughan song, this is a pretty wonderful accomplishment.
I highly recommend the Stevie Ray Vaughan's Signature Licks book and CD set for anyone who wants to learn how to play Stevie Ray Vaughan songs. You still have to practice, but you will progress and achieve the skills necessary to play Stevie Ray Vaughan songs.
